CDRN Early Career Cancer Health Disparities Researcher Scholarship Award

The Early Career Scholarship aims to support career development in cancer health disparities research. It will assist early-career scholars with expenses related to: conferences (i.e., registration, travel, lodging, etc.), workshops/trainings, journal/publication fees, and other qualified career development opportunities.

Pilot Funding in Cancer and Cancer Health Disparities

The GMaP Region 4 program is pleased to announce the availability of pilot funds to generate feasibility data for larger research/education projects for early stage investigators in GMaP Region 4 focused on Cancer and Cancer Health Disparities (CHD) research. Pilot/feasibility projects must fall into at least one of the following categories: (1) Population-based Research, (2) Basic Science Research, or (3) Clinical/Translational Research.  Up to $10,000 will be awarded.

Expert Grant Review Award

The Expert Grant Review award is intended to assist New and Early Stage Investigators who are applying for funding awards with feedback from senior researchers in the region.  Grants are welcome in the following categories: (1) Population-based Research, (2) Basic Science Research, or (3) Clinical/Translational Research.  Region 4 is comprised of a variety of Cancer and CHD researchers who are experienced with the grant writing process and successful grant funding outcomes. Feedback from such experts may be useful to New or Early Stage Investigators prior to submitting a competitive grant application.
